So I was having some problems installling some other driver and I was told to update my PCI Serial Port and PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver. Went to HP website, downloaded 9 available driver software packages and installed.
In Device Manager, saw multiple Network Adapters not installed. After installation, couldn't make network connection. Formatted hardrive, fresh install of Windows 7 Professional, SP1. PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver for Windows 10, 8, 7 In device manager, if you found the PCI devices changes to PCI Simple Communications Controller and with a yellow exclamation mark, it means that your PCI Simple Communications Controller driver is missing and your PCI device cannot be recognized by Windows 10.
